WATCH

The problem. The build. The product.

16 minutes. Inspiration, Idea to production.

The problem

Every cinematographer knows the feeling. You need an 80mm that focuses to 2ft. You know it exists somewhere. You spend twenty minutes cross-referencing rental catalogues, forum threads, and half-remembered conversations with other ACs. That knowledge lives in people's heads. When a production wraps, it disappears.

The thinking

What if you could search from intent rather than specification?

A DP doesn't think in datasheets. They think in shots shallow focus, close subject, vintage rendering, intimate feel. The glass that delivers that combination is knowable. It just needed somewhere to live.

The solution

A mobile-first lens discovery tool built around a three-axis search triangle.

Set your focal length, depth of field, and minimum focus distance. Add rendering character format, mood, era. Get a ranked list of lenses that match, with real character notes, film references, rental house links, and community credits. From the Joker bathroom sequence to There Will Be Blood the oral tradition of cinematography, finally searchable.

LET'S WORK

If your tool demands precision, so should your designer.

If your tool demands precision, so should your designer.

Building a plugin, a platform, or something that doesn't fit a category yet, if your users can't afford a broken workflow, let's build a better one.
